Every once in a while Sony sends non-PS Plus subscribers some love, and that's exactly what it is doing this upcoming Valentine's Day weekend, as PS5 and PS4 players can play online with friends for free without a PS Plus subscription.

Occasionally, Sony will roll out free weekends such as this one to give players perhaps on the fence about a PS Plus subscription a chance to try it out. Online multiplayer will be free for absolutely everybody this weekend no matter whether someone is playing on a PS4 or a PS5. Every game with online capabilities is free-to-play this weekend, but Sony has highlighted the likes of Monster Hunter World, Fall Guys, and NBA 2K22 as a promotion for the weekend.
