However, sadly, there is no direct way to hide your WhatsApp chats, but having said that, there are quite a few hidden tricks that will help you to hide your chats and we explain them to you here.

In the absence of the actual hide feature for chats, the archive comes as a special feature to fill that void. You can archive your personal or group chats and remove them from the main screen and hide them in an archived folder to refer to later whenever you want. Then, select "Privacy" under "Account".

Now, simply tap on the "Fingerprint lock." It will give different options depending on the Android smartphone that you're using. 

If your phone supports a fingerprint sensor, then toggle the option next to "Unlock with fingerprint."

Also, make sure to select how soon the app will perform this security measure such as "Immediately," "After 1 minute," and "After 30 minutes."
