Players who travel to Mars to clean the Mars Rover in PowerWash Simulator might have trouble completing the game’s most unusual job due to the presence of a secret hatch of mysterious origin that can be tricky to find. While the Mars Rover itself is the main focus of this particular special job, getting a satisfying and thorough 100% deep clean requires the player to track down and clean a mysterious hatch on the surface of the Red Planet. With Mars receiving more visitors than ever before thanks to PowerWash Simulator’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass, finding the mystery hatch will undoubtedly become a priority for the game’s new community of spacefaring repair people.
While most of PowerWash Simulator’s jobs take place in suburban backyards and public spaces, players can also take their fancy power washers into space in the game’s special mode. The Mars Rover in PowerWash Simulator is based on the real-life Perseverance Mars Rover which landed on Mars in 2021. It isn’t immediately clear whether its delicate scientific instruments could withstand a proper power washing treatment in real life, but in PowerWash Simulator, the rover needs to have Martian dust, sand, and odd slime cleaned off it to restore it to full working order.

Even that far away from Earth, PowerWash Simulator players shouldn’t look at the Sun, although this version of Mars isn’t as hazardous as it is in real life; the player’s power washing gear, spray nozzles and soap all still work in the same way.
