Post Malone is well known for being a huge gamer in addition to his musical talents. He’s a huge fan of shooters such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and PUBG, has sometimes streamed on Twitch, became a co-owner of esports org Envy Gaming, and even hosted a virtual concert forPokemon’s 25th anniversary.
Now, Posty is onto his next gaming venture: a collaboration with Crytek on Hunt: Showdown: 1896. Unsurprisingly, Post Malone is a huge fan of the game, admitting he’s clocked in over 400 hours in Crytek’s popular extraction shooter.
In Post Malone’s Murder Circus, Post will be playing the Deposed King, the “leader of a twisted carnival corrupted by the dark power of the HelioStone.”
The event will unleash “monstrous horros” such as Ursa Mortis, a terrifying bear the result of corrupted conjoined bear cubs that were once featured in the circus.
Naturally, the event will also include new Hunter skins, weapons, and weapon variants. A new Monster Ursa Mortis, and a “surreal carnival inspired atmosphere” should also be a fun mix with the game’s historical themes.
Crytek hasn’t set a release date for the event just yet, only that it will be “coming soon.” Once it begins, the event will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
