Unfortunately, news about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has been minimal since the first trailer, leaving many to speculate what mechanics from past games will continue forward.

However, additional information is now available thanks to a new gameplay trailer revealed on The Official Pokémon YouTube Channel, including the confirmation of 4-player co-op and character customization. According to the trailer, players will be able to team up in groups of four to explore select locations in the new region. Additionally, the playable characters shown in the co-op reveal all have appearances that differ from the confirmed preset character designs for Scarlet and Violet. This includes different hairstyles, clothing options, skin tones, and accessories. The character models also appear to be more detailed than past Pokémon
