Bonsly is a Rock-type creature for trainers to capture in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. From the very beginning, the objective of the game is to capture all the Pokémon in the Hisui region. However, as Pokémon begin to spawn in the overworld, trainers will need to use stealth and other strategies to capture them all. It allows for trainers to have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon, and it works across the board for all Shiny Hunting methods. There's even a chance for trainers to encounter a Shiny Bonsly if they're lucky. Although, the player will need to wait until they have access to Crimson Mirelands. This is the second explorable location that is unlocked by progressing the story.
