A new and ambitious Pokemon Legends: Arceus mod brings all the regions of the games into one open-world space. Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the interesting spin-off set in the Sinnoh region that take players back in time to explore some of Pokemon's history and find out key details such as how the creatures get in a Pokeball in the first place. Giving fans a unique Pokemon experience compared to the mainline games, Legends: Arceus was a big success financially, topping Switch sales charts in the weeks and months following release.
While Pokemon Legends: Arceus offered a ton of new features for fans of the franchise, including a spin on the way the Pokedex works, additional Hisuian regional forms of Pokemon, and different mounts to access more areas of the map, for some players there still felt as if there was something missing. Some felt as though Pokemon Legends: Arceus' lack of an open world was a tad disappointing and despite there being several distinct areas to explore, the fact they were each separated by a loading screen took away somewhat from the openness of the game's setting.

One ambitious modder is looking to change Pokemon Legends: Arceus' map, giving players a true open-world experience by allowing them to explore not only the entire Hisui region, but each additional region from the Pokemon games as well. The modder, known as Shadowjhakx982 over on the Nexus, has just released the alpha version of their Pokemon Unlimited mod, which will also include areas from titles not included in the mainline games such as Orre and the Orange Islands.
