As Pokemon turns yet another year older, Game Freak has come prepared with all sorts of news that's sure to make almost every Pokemon fan happy. This past week has been filled with announcements regarding new content for Pokemon Masters EX, special raids for Sword and Shield, and more. Despite that, more announcements came out of a quick Pokemon Presents on the day of its anniversary itself, including information on a free content update for Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Once Pokemon Legends: Arceus launched, many fans and critics alike have found themselves immersed in the title, enjoying catching Pokemon across Hisui and exploring the history of what would become the Sinnoh region. However, this led to many of the game's early adopters beating the game relatively fast, which sparked a desire to see further content in the form of DLC.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Announced, New Starters Revealed
While there has yet to be DLC plans for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, a Pokemon Day presentation has revealed a free content update that has now gone live for all players. It adds a handful of new features for the post-game, such as new requests and the Massive Mass Outbreaks which spawn hordes of Alpha Pokemon.
Alongside these updates, players can obtain a huge amount of free Poke Balls specifically to celebrate Pokemon Day by using the code «ARCEUSADVENTURE» through Mystery Gift. This will give fans 30 Ultra Balls, Gigaton Balls, and Jet Balls for a total of 90 Poke Balls that are sure to come in handy with the new Massive Mass Outbreaks.
It should be noted by fans that almost everything found in the Daybreak update is specifically locked after completing the main parts of the game, like the Eternal Battle Reverie mode only being available
