Spring is in the air, and while April showers bring May flowers, Pokemon GO brings its player base a brand-new, spring-themed event. The Spring into Spring event joins an event-filled month of April and will commence on April 12 at 10 am local time and will last until April 18, at 8 pm local time.
The highly-anticipated event introduces three costumed Pokemon, special research tasks, enhanced shiny encounter rates for specific Pokemon, and the debut of a Legendary Pokemon in five-star raids. Many of the features are available throughout the event period, and Pokemon GO players can receive a bonus Special Research line for completing the Special Research tasks by June 1.
