One Pokemon fan's illustration is quickly gaining traction online, showing Xurkitree's immense height by comparing it to Charizard. While many people who are familiar with Pokemon would likely think a creature like Charizard would be one of the larger ones to exist, it actually pales in comparison to some from later generations. This is the case with Xurkitree, which completely towers over the fan-favorite Pokemon.
An Electric-type first debuting in the seventh generation, Xurkitree is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokemon. Xurkitree is also codenamed UB-03 Lightning, as it is one of the Ultra Beasts introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon, a special group of extradimensional Pokemon that came through a wormhole from Ultra Space.

The impressive and enlightening fan drawing appears to have first shown up on a Pokemon subreddit, posted by user and creator u/ellal1321. The image shows a Xurkitree standing next to a bewildered Charizard, in shock of just how gigantic the Pokemon standing next to it is. The artist has also provided height measurements next to each Pokemon, with Charizard apparently just an average human height of 5 feet 7 inches. Xurkitree, however, stands at a much more intimidating 12 feet 6 inches, more than twice as tall.
The drawing has gotten a strong fan response, garnering well over 2,000 upvotes at the time of writing. Plenty of fans have populated the comments section as well, with some stating that the catchable Xurkitrees are only the «saplings» compared to how large a size the Pokemon can potentially grow to.
