Despite some of the critique it received when revealed, the PlayStation Portal was seemingly one of the most sought-after items in the video game world this holiday season. Pre-orders sold out everywhere almost immediately, and stock has been hard to find ever since. A couple of retailers have been restocking the Portal post-Christmas, and even if you are lucky enough to find one, it's going to be a while before you get your hands on it.
Amazon and Best Buy have restocked the PlayStation Portal since December 25. Neither has them listed at the time of publishing, but it's still worth checking the links in the box below just in case. Both retailers have been restocking them without warning, and also in batches to reduce traffic. That said, if you get one, you'll wait until at least February to use it.
The PlayStation Portal is a handheld companion to Sony's PlayStation 5 console. Based around the features of a DualSense controller and Remote Play, it features an eight-inch LCD screen at 1080p resolution capable of 60fps, a headphone jack for wired audio.
Some of those lucky enough to get a Portal during these latest waves of restocks have been sharing the very vague dates given by retailers when it comes to delivery. While some have been lucky enough to get a February ship date, others have been given a window of March 10 to March 20. A three-month wait is better than nothing though, of course, which is what a lot of those who want a Portal still face as stock remains scarce.
