Valorware is the developer behind the 9th Dawn and Throne Quest games, and it’s just revealed that its next project – Pinku Kult: Hex Mortis – is set to land on the Play Store next week. When next week?
That’s an excellent question. It’s set to make its debut on Android on June 1st, the same day it’s launching on a whole bunch of other platforms. The game is a unique-looking 2D RPG that’s all about magic and murder and gooey stuff. Probably.
It’s set in a place called Razore City and sees you tasked by the Shokan Corp to investigate some strange goings on and find the mastermind behind them all – a girl in a fox mask. Sounds pretty good. Here’s a trailer.
You’ll be building up a team of misfits as you work your way through a series of dungeons inspired by the demons that inhabit them. Oh yeah, there’s loads of demons here.
There are massive boss fights as well, and an old-school turn-based battle system that fans of JRPGs are going to get pretty darn quickly. There’s plenty of player customization as well.
Pink Kult: Hex Mortis is based on an apparel brand designed by Hana Eaton as well. So that’s also cool? The game is set to land on the Play Store on June 1st and it’ll set you back $4.99 when it does.
