On Limited Run Games' DOOM: The Classics Collection release day, Switch users were quick to point out the physical edition's heavy DRM requirements — which prevented players from booting any game from the collection without a proper internet connection and linked Nintendo account. The physical specialist announced the limited-time collection in March for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, putting id Software's popular three titles - DOOM, DOOM 2 and DOOM 3 - onto one cartridge.
