Patricia Arquette and Tramell Tillman star in the new mind-bending workplace thriller, Severance directed by Ben Stiller. Severance follows Mark, played by Adam Scott, who undergoes an experimental surgery called severance, which separates their memories between their personal lives and their work lives for Lumon Industries.
Arquette plays the mysterious Harmony Cobel, of the Lumon’s boss, Tillman plays Milcheck, the manager on the 7th floor, that is more than meets the eye. Ahead of Severance’s’ debut on Apple TV, Arquette and Tillman spoke with Screen Rant about their characters, working with Ben Stiller, and how the added element of social distancing really served the show.

Screen Rant: First of all, guys, amazing job on this show. It completely blew my mind. Severance mixes dark comedy, satire, and mystery, but at its core, it's a very human story in a way that I hadn't really seen done before. Patricia, let's start with you. What attracted you to the story and premise by Dan Erickson?
Patricia Arquette: I just thought it was so interesting, this whole world that he'd come up with. It really was different. It was this sci-fi thing and it had comedy elements. It was a little bit film noir, was a little bit of a soap opera. It was futuristic. I was so excited to work with Ben Stiller again and the vision, and the way they made this look, I was just excited to be a part of this.
How about you, Tramell?
