Despite being announced all the way back in November 2019, Overwatch 2 has been pretty quiet. That is, up until very recently. In the last few months, Blizzard announced that Overwatch 2 is finally nearing a playable state, and that an Alpha for the game's PvP mode would be dropping in March. While those who have played the game already can't speak about it due to a strict NDA, things seem to have gone well, and a closed PvP Beta will now be launched on April 26 for those playing on PC.
Along with a stripped back 5v5 game mode, a few new maps, and some Hero reworks, the Overwatch 2 Beta will also include the game's first new hero, Sojourn. Though Sojourn has appeared over the last few years in Winston and Ana's animated shorts, the Canadian hero is finally coming to the world of Overwatch in a playable form, and she looks to be one of the fastest Heroes in the game.

This stored energy can then be used for Sojourn's secondary fire mode, which launches a high-impact bolt from the railgun. This high-impact shot can be seen in Sojourn's gameplay
