A new Outer Range trailer arrives offering a deeper look at the Western series in which Josh Brolin's farm experiences terrifying paranormal events. Created by Brian Watkins, the series centers on Royal Abbott, patriarch of a ranching family in the wilderness of Wyoming who reluctantly allows drifter Autumn to camp on his land. Shortly thereafter, the Abbotts find their faith and sanity tested as strange occurrences begin happening around the ranch, including a seemingly infinite void forming in the middle of a field, with Autumn investigating a mysterious recurring symbol.
Brolin leads the cast of Outer Range alongside Lili Taylor, Tamara Podemski, Tom Pelphrey, Imogen Poots, Lewis Pullman, Noah Reid, Shaun Sipos, Isabel Arraiza, Olive Abercrombie and Will Patton. Development on the series was first announced in early 2020 when the Deadpool 2 and Marvel Cinematic Universe actor signed on to star and executive produce alongside Watkins, Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment, Zev Borow, Heather Rae and Amazon Studios. After some troubles during production due to the ongoing pandemic, Outer Range officially wrapped filming early last year and is now gearing up to come to Amazon Prime Video.
