The anticipated anime-inspired “footbrawl” multiplayer game Omega Strikers is out now, although not every promised version of the game is available quite yet. While you can play the game on PC, Switch, and mobile, at the last moment, Canadian developer Odyssey Interactive announced the Xbox and PlayStation versions have been delayed due to “technical issues.”
Thankfully, Omega Strikers is going down well with those who can play it, with a “Very Positive” user score on Steam. You can check out the launch trailer for Omega Strikers, below.
Meanwhile, here’s the game’s stylish anime opening cinematic, created by Studio TRIGGER.
Haven’t been keeping up with Omega Strikers? The project is being headed up by several veterans of League of Legends developer Riot, which has garnered the game a lot of attention (and funding). Here’s a quick official description…
“Smash opponents off the arena and score goals in this lightning-fast 3v3 footbrawler. Sling slimes, toss tofu, and rocket boost to victory as one of 15+ stylish Strikers. Squad up with friends and outplay your rivals to become an Omega Striker.”
Omega Strikers is available now on PC, Switch, and mobile devices. Odyssey Interactive promises the Xbox and PlayStation versions will arrive “in the coming weeks.”
