Obsidian co-founder Feargus Urquhart revealed that he would very much be interested in making another Fallout title. It's not clear when the next Fallout game will release or even be unveiled, as currently Bethesda is hard at work getting Starfield ready for next year. And it seems that after the release of its ambitious space-faring RPG, the developer will return to the fantasy setting of The Elder Scrolls. Fallout 5 will likely be revealed at some point after The Elder Scrolls 6 then, putting it more than a couple of years away.
This hasn't stopped plenty of fans from getting hyped about what their next journey through the nuclear wasteland could look like, as many hope that the series will again be able to reach the heights of past iterations. While Fallout 4 did get a mostly positive reception from the fanbase, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas still remain incredibly popular entries in the series despite being over a decade old. The latter Obsidian classic is especially regarded with esteem by fans, with many wanting a remake ofFallout: New Vegas.

It seems that Obsidian may also be interested in creating another Fallout title. In a recent interview with DualShockers, Obsidian co-founder Feargus Urquhart spoke about his fondness for the Fallout franchise, stating that he would «love» the opportunity for Obsidian to work on another game in the series. According to Urquhart, it is not a question of whether Obsidian would make the game or not, it is more a matter of «will the opportunity arise?»
