Graphics card specialist Nvidia has been the victim of a massive cyber attack.
As reported by The Telegraph - and spotted by VGC - the company's internal systems have been "completely compromised" in a malicious intrusion, resulting in emails and developer tools being down temporarily for several days now.
It's unclear what data, if any, has been stolen.
“We are investigating an incident," an Nvidia spokesperson said.
"We don’t have any additional information to share at this time.”
Speaking to the Telegraph, University of Surrey security expert Dr Alan Woodward said: "The ultimate concern is that somebody may have put something in one of the software updates.
"They’ll be going through trying to make sure to see if there’s any indication that anything has been changed in their software that they then shipped to their clients."
This is the second known security breach that Nvidia has faced in the last year following a hack that revealed hundreds of unannounced games for its GeForce Now streaming platform.
