Nokia, now owned by HMD-Global, has launched the Nokia C31 smartphone in the budget category at a starting price of Rs. 9999. If you are a fan of Nokia, and want to buy the Nokia C31, then you can do so from Nokia online store as well as other offline retail stores across India.
Like most phones, Nokia C31 too is being offered in two storage options starting with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and the second one with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The difference in price is just Rs. 1000.
So, what do you really get at that price point? For starters, it offers a 6.74-inch 2.5D toughened glass with a resolution of 1600x720, a 5MP camera at the front for selfies and a triple camera system at the rear.
Curiously, it packs an unnamed octa-core processor and runs on the Android 12 operating system. It offers up to 4GB of RAM. Internal storage capacity is 64GB.
Affordable it may be, but it recognises that in today's day and age many people carry 2 SIMs and that is what it offers along with a microSD card which can expand storage capacity up to 256GB.
Nokia C31 is fueled by a 5050mAh battery with 10 watt charging. It does not look to be a power-hungry phone as Nokia claims it can last up to 3 days on a single charge. It does have a headphone jack.
It has kept the colour schemes simple and offers Charcoal and Mint options only.
A plus point may well be that Nokia will probably roll out the Android 13 operating system update for the phone soon.
