NIS America launched a playable demo for Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless, alongside a new trailer for the latest in the long-running, strategy RPG franchise. The demo is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. In addition, all progress made can be transferred to the full release.
For longtime fans of the Disgaea franchise, the new trailer for Vows of the Virtueless includes the return of Tsunami Bomb’s “The Invasion From Within,” which was included as the trailer music for the original Disgaea: Hour of Darkness back in 2007. To hit its fandom over the head with a nostalgia meteor this close to release, NIS America must have a lot of confidence in Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless.
In the latest entry in the Disgaea franchise, we follow Fuji and Pirilika as they seek to return the bushido code to the demonic realm of Hinomoto. As is to be expected from the series, there are a vast number of character classes to pick from, along with new features such as Item Reincarnation, Jumbification, and Hell Mode! Plus, with the inclusion of online ranked battles, it seems there’s much to do this go around.
Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless is set to release on October 3 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. You can download the demo today to test out the new features and, as mentioned above, transfer any progress made to the full version of the game when it launches.
