Nintendo has added another batch of games to Nintendo Switch Online’s SNES catalog. Available to subscribers of all tiers of the service, four additional SNES titles have been added to the service’s library, and at least one is a notable one.
That is Battletoads Double Dragon, the Rare-developed beat ’em up- though no, its NES version is not the one to be included, which some may have actually preferred. Meanwhile, joining the beat ’em up are three more games in the form of Jaleco’s arcade racer Big Run, Namco’s 1992 puzzle game Cosmo Gang the Puzzle, and dodgeball title Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zen’in Shūgō!, which is going to be available to players outside of Japan for the first time ever since its original release in 1993.
Sure enough, Nintendo has kept up its trend of largely sticking with smaller and more obscure titles when it comes to additions for Nintendo Switch Online (especially for the base tier’s library), but there are certainly some eye-catching introductions in this particular batch.
