The rumors were true. Nintendo really does have a Direct planned soon. Very soon, in fact, as it confirmed on Twitter earlier today that its next Direct will be taking place on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Yes, that is tomorrow. In typical Nintendo fashion, the studio has given us barely any time to prepare and speculate on what the Direct might include. As highlighted in the tweet announcing the news, the 40-minute presentation will focus on Switch titles launching through the first half of 2022.
The Direct will begin at 5 pm ET, so on the bright side, that does give us more than 24 hours to speculate wildly on what to expect. We need something now that there are no unannounced Smash fighter to argue over. Something that isn't a giant leap is the assumption that Kirby And The Forgotten Land will get some screen time. The next Kirby game is Nintendo's next big launch and will be here on March 25, 2022.

The power of word of mouth.
Josh has been gaming for as long as he can remember. That love began with a mild childhood addiction to the Sega Genesis, or Mega Drive since he lives in the UK. Back then, Sonic 2 quickly became his favorite game and as you might have guessed from his picture, the franchise has remained close to his heart ever since. Nowadays, he splits his time between his PS4 and his Switch and spends far too much time playing Fortnite.
