However, not all players will want to experience the automated feature that Cross Worlds offers. Fortunately, auto-battle and autoplay can be disabled and enabled anytime during players' adventures. To turn off the auto-battle feature in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, players will need to press on the icon with the two crossed swords at the bottom of the screen during combat.
It should be directly to the right of the list of Ni no Kuni Familiars. Players can touch it to make their character auto-battle, letting the computer attack and use skills/special abilities.
The picture below shows the auto-battle icon circled in red.
If the icon is pressed again, players can set it to semi-auto, meaning that the player's character will continue to attack by itself, but no skills will be used. And, if players press it a third time, the auto-battle feature will be turned off completely, and they can fully control their character's combat actions.
