That’s where variations on the game’s design come into play.
Shortly after Wordle garnered national attention, clones began popping up on the internet. Most clones keep the basic principles of Wordle but change it slightly, such as Lewdle, which tasks players with guessing a vulgar five-letter word. Others, like Marvle, limit words to a specific theme. Some Wordle clones change the format entirely, like Moviedle, which has movie buffs watching a sped-up clip of a movie before guessing the day’s chosen film.
