New Thor: Love and Thunder scenes just keep coming, with the third piece of scrapped footage now featuring Chris Pratt's Star-Lord and Pom Klementieff's Mantis dealing with the MCU's rejuvenated, yet frustrating god of thunder.
Unlike the past two deleted scenes from Thor: Love and Thunder, this one was not released by a media outlet. Instead, it comes from the small YouTube channel Geeky16, whose content consists mainly of clips from movies. The scene in question takes place towards the beginning of the film, where Chris Hemsworth's Thor is found by the Guardians contemplating his existence, albeit with the dismissed version turning out to be more whimsical than the one that made the cut.

That is to say, fans who were left wanting more scenes featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy in Thor: Love and Thunder wouldn’t have seen this added to the movie. Instead, the deleted scene would have replaced the one from the theatrical release where the Guardians and Thor are seen joining forces to rescue the Indigarrians. The clip sees Mantis and Star-Lord trying to convince Thor to help them save the locals, but instead of the latter taking off riding Stormbreaker, they fail to launch their counterattack when the three try to jump aboard the multipurpose weapon.
Reading the comments after the footage surfaced online, it’s no wonder the scene was taken out of the movie. The whole dialogue goes above and beyond the film’s already over-the-top humor.
