Announced as part of Gamescom's Opening Night Live, Tortuga: A Pirate's Tale is the next game from German game studio Gaming Minds, best known for its Port Royale strategy game series.
The trailer, which is partly a pre-rendered cinematic of a pirate captain looking for new recruits, does offer a few glimpses of gameplay. Ship customization, open sea ship battles, and the ability to explore the Caribbean from a top-down perspective are all shown.
