May is almost here, which means a whole new slate of shows and movies to watch on Netflix. Some of the content is available starting on May 1, while other shows and movies will be available a little later next month.
The month's new content starts to get really most packed and exciting starting near the end of May. So, going backwards, Stranger Things 4: Volume 1 will finally be here on May 27. The first half of the season will--as we know from a trailer released in April--deliver a lot of surprises and a new threat from the Upside Down. This season takes place six months after the events of Battle of Starcourt (Season 3), and as the friends enter high school, they're dragged back to the Upside Down again. Check out the trailer below along with our Easter eggs and trailer breakdown.
Then, on May 18, the American version of the endearing reality series Love on the Spectrum will be coming to Netflix. The series originally began as a multi-award-winning Australian docuseries/reality dating show exploring love, sex, and relationships for singles on the autism spectrum. According to a synopsis, this US-based version «tells the stories of a unique and diverse cast of characters searching for something we all hope to find--love.»
Finally, on May 16, Vampire in the Garden--a new, original series from Studio Wit, the Japanese animation company that produced the first three seasons of Attack on Titan--will arrive on the streaming service. Really, all that needs to be said is «this company worked on Attack on Titan,» which is a widely acclaimed anime.
