This weekend, Netflix is welcoming a documentary about a famous clothing brand, a documentary miniseries about a serial killer, season 2 of a popular comedy-drama series, and a British coming-of-age TV series. As the world continues to gain some normalcy during the coronavirus pandemic, streaming platforms continue to be a main source of entertainment for many, as well as the solution for various studios when it comes to releasing their movies. In Netflix’s case, it’s not only keeping its doors open for those movies looking for a streaming release, but it also continues adding new licensed and original content every week.
Last weekend, the streaming giant added multiple seasons of the animated series Lego: City and LEGO Friends: Girls on a Mission, the anime movie One Piece Film: Z, and the horror movie Ouija: Origin of Evil, along with the documentary series Our Great National Parks, the British drama series Anatomy of a Scandal, and the horror-thriller Choose or Die. This weekend, on the licensed content front there won’t be new titles to check out, with the only addition being the kids' animated show Cry Babies Magic Tears, so all eyes will be on the platform’s original content.
