Braid, the popular puzzle platformer, has finally made the much-awaited comeback with its Anniversary Edition. Originally slated for April 30th, Braid Anniversary Edition has launched on Android, iOS, PC and consoles today. It’s developed by Thekla and published by Netflix, and if you’re a Netflix subscriber, you can dive into it for free!
Braid originally debuted on Xbox Live Arcade in August 2008, captivating gamers with its awesome gameplay. Over the years, it expanded to other platforms like Windows, Mac, PlayStation 3 and Linux. Now, let’s get to the actual details. What’s new in Braid Anniversary Edition?
Expect a mix of nostalgia and freshness with 40 new or redesigned levels joining the classic ones. Also, Braid Anniversary Edition has over 15 hours of developer commentary spread across 14 Commentary Index Levels. There are 13 fresh puzzle levels and 12 Alternate Designs, each with their own commentary.
While the core gameplay remains consistent with the original, you’ll see a major makeover in visuals and audio.
