The first set of the Bracket Busters Spotlight Challenges for NBA 2K22 is now available for gamers to participate in, and a new series pack is available in the 2K Games MyTeam mode. These offline challenges give players a variety of tasks to complete to gain new cards and enhance their lineup.
This first set doesn't offer the most powerful NBA 2K22 units ever released, but it's something players can still find some use of. Unfortunately, the challenges are only here for 17 days, ending in conjunction with the conclusion of Season 5.
NBA 2K22 Getting Limited Season 5 Event Alongside Two New Dark Matter Cards
Unlike previous 2K Spotlight Sims, the Bracket Busters challenges will run through the Agendas alongside the typical method of completing individual games. Players will use Bracket Busters rewards to fulfill tasks such as scoring a double-double, making specific amounts of dunks in a game, and scoring an overall point total in a game. One interesting note is that once players embark on the journey to complete the tasks, they'll be required to continue using the roster that set throughout the challenge. This will allow players to calculate and determine strategies ahead of each game while utilizing NBA 2K22's Dynamic rating system to build a team focused on scoring as many points as possible.
There are plenty of ways for players to quickly accomplish these tasks and earn all the rewards during the campaign. On offense, a high pick-and-roll is exploitable to give players an easier shot at the hoop. The AI will occasionally detect the screener and send a defender to break it up, but all it takes is scooping the ball out and trying the play again.
