On Wednesday, March 2, Apple announced the date for its Spring Event specially meant for iPhone SE 3 launch. While there have been multiple leaks and rumors around the March 8 event, Apple had kept quiet all this time. Some tipsters were even reconsidering whether the event might be delayed, but finally the Apple event has been confirmed. The Apple event will take place on March 8 from 11:30 PM onwards. The event is expected to unveil the new iPhone SE 3 which has been the talk of the town for months. But that’s not all. The event may also launch a range of devices and technologies including new MacBooks, Apple M2 chip, a new iPad Air and more. But so far, the event is shrouded in mystery as Apple has not said a word. Well, they have said two words - Peek Performance - which is the tagline of the event. And yes, that is not a typo. So, what can this tagline mean and what could it mean for iPhone SE 3 and other possible launches?
Interestingly, Apple has opted for 'Peek Performance' instead of 'Peak Performance'. 'Peak ' meaning maximum performance. The word 'Peek', however, here suggests that Apple is sort of going to give us all a hint or a glance at the performance technology they have been building so far. This would make some sense as well. Apple iPhone 13 did not come with any substantial upgrades vis a vis the iPhone 12, which made many speculate that next year’s iPhone 14 lineup could have some big changes scheduled. If that is the case, with the first event of the year 2022, Apple would be looking to set the mood for iPhone 14 and create some buzz in the market.
