The free-to-play Warner Bros. crossover platform fighter essentially soft launched in open beta on July 26 and has been a massive hit with members of the communities of other popular platform fighters. The game even has a large upcoming tournament at the prominent fighting game event EVO, which should be the best showcase so far of the game's top talent.
Though many other platform fighters have been released to rival Super Smash Bros. in the platform fighter genre, MultiVersus is the one that has gained the most momentum.
