Moving Out 2was announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live, and it looks like it is setting itself up to be a welcomed upgrade to the original game. Developed by Team17, who is well versed in cooperative games, the original Moving Out was a smash hit for players wanting to scratch that couch co-op itch that has been left unfulfilled due to modern games generally omitting the once popular multiplayer feature. With that said, the original game was solely reliant on local multiplayer, and though it is a breath of fresh air for a game to include couch co-op, it can be frustrating for it to only feature local multiplayer and not give an option for online play.
Fortunately, Moving Out 2 is improving upon the original game in just about every way, including creating the option for online multiplayer. More often than not, players are unable to be in the same room or even the same country as some of their co-op partners, so cooperative games such as Moving Out are unable to be enjoyed to their full potential. Moving Out 2 will fix this issue by allowing both local and online multiplayer, allowing players from around the world to work together.

The entire premise of Moving Out revolves around friends working together to move a designated amount of items from point A to point B. Some levels had players wrangling farm animals, while others required the use of conveyor belts, but every level encouraged players to work together if they wanted to move the items in a timely manner.
