Morbius inexplicably streams for free on Twitch, resulting in hilarious reactions in the chat. Released in theaters this past April 1, Morbius is the third installment in Sony's expanding Spider-Man Universe after Tom Hardy's Venom and its sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The movie introduces the Marvel comics character known as Dr. Michael Morbius, a scientist whose attempts to cure himself of a rare blood disorder accidentally inflict him with a transgenic form of vampirism, giving him all the superhuman abilities associated with the blood-sucking creatures, without any of the superstitious weaknesses.
Oscar-winner and Suicide Squad star Jared Leto leads the Morbius cast as the titular protagonist, a.k.a the Living Vampire, alongside Doctor Who's Matt Smith as the main antagonist, Milo, Morbius' surrogate brother who suffers from the same rare blood disorder. Jared Harris plays Dr. Emil Nicholas, Morbius and Milo's mentor and father figure, while Adria Arjona stars as Morbius' colleague and love interest, Martine Bancroft. Tyrese Gibson of the Fast & Furious franchise and Al Madrigal round out the cast as two FBI agents hunting Morbius. Michael Keaton makes a cameo appearance during the movie's mid-credits scene, reprising his Spider-Man: Homecoming role as Adrian Toomes/Vulture.
