Moonshot Cast & Character Guide

Moonshot's cast is led by Walt and Sophie, played respectively by Riverdale's Cole Sprouse and the To All The Boys saga's Lana Corden. Walt and Sophie are two students who embark on a journey to Mars in the year 2049. While the two head to Mars in hopes of seeing their respective significant others, they soon realize that they might be giving up their lives on Earth for the wrong reasons. Fleshing out this sci-fi romcom story is a cast of veteran actors.
Moonshot's narrative largely depends on the chemistry between Walt and Sophie. Armed with a hilarious script, the two meet other spacefarers and slowly warm up to each other during their 35-day journey to Mars. Similar to films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World, and the classic dark comedy Groundhog Day, Moonshot is a bold combination of romance, comedy, fantasy, and light sci-fi.

Walt is an average young man with extraordinary and far-from-average dreams.
