Players who spent all their time and energy crafting a multitude of armor sets in Monster Hunter Rise will find themselves repeating the process in the latest Sunbreak DLC. Although fully-upgraded High Rank armor is enough to tackle some earlier fights in the DLC's new Master Ranking, the «flimsy» armor won't stand up to the barrage of stronger monsters as players progress through the quests found in Elgado. Players will need to adapt to their new surroundings and upgrade their gear even further if they hope to make it through the Jungle and Citadel unscathed.

Thankfully, players will unlock the ability to craft Master Rank armors, which provide a huge defensive boost and come with their own share of skills and abilities that can help hunters thrive in the new locations, rather than simply survive them. There are some pretty useful Master Rank pieces sprinkled throughout the Blacksmith that players can put together but some of them require some new materials like Goldlite Ore. Here's where players can snag the new ore type in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
Goldlite Ore isn't too difficult to farm, thankfully, but players may have to make a few laps around an expedition before they manage to get their hands on it, depending on how much luck is on their side. The Rarity 8 ore isn't «common» and may take a few mining attempts for players to get all they need to successfully build whatever armors or Buddy gear they're after. To find Goldlite Ore, players need to head to the Sandy Plains, as it's the only place that outputs the new material. Players can gather it from either normal White Mining Outcrops or Blue Mining Outcrops in the area.
