A tech test has been announced for MLB The Show 22 and it'll give fans a chance to play the game a bit early on all platforms. MLB The Show usually holds an annual tech test ahead of the game's release to work out any technical kinks and give fans a chance to experience some of the new improvements ahead of launch. While a lot of content is already locked in place for release by the time these tech tests are held, it's still an effective way to gain feedback about what's working and what's not so the team can make adjustments either before or after release.
At the end of January, MLB The Show 22 was revealed with Shohei Ohtani as the cover star. This reveal also coincided with the announcement of the series' first-ever entry on Nintendo Switch. Although it won't be nearly as powerful or easy on the eyes as the Xbox Series X/S or PS5 versions, it's still a great opportunity for players to be able to take the game on the go. With features like cross-progression, fans will be able to enjoy MLB The Show 22 wherever they want, however they want.
