Whether it's the addition of new pack series, legendary players to obtain, or new jerseys hitting the market, the game's catalog of items is impressive. Last week, MLB The Show 22 released a giant update of new content, and it's following it up this week with a new series of challenges.

For the second consecutive week, players get a new Conquest Map to take on and complete. Conquest Maps is an enjoyable mini-game that challenges players to build up their fan base while attempting to take over the fans of an MLB team featured on the map. Players work their way around the map, collecting as many fans as possible before engaging in a quick game with the opposing team. The winner takes it all, and the rewards for taking down the MLB team include some great perks, including the team's fans. Along with MLB The Show 22's Battle Royale program, the Conquest Maps mode is heavily enjoyed by the player base and often praised on social media.
In addition to the update, a new Featured Program, known as the Spring Cleanup challenge, reveals a series of five legendary bosses to take down. San Diego Studio teased the first boss, which will be revealed on April 29, and is confirmed to be a two-time All-Star pitcher.
