Mojang Studios recently added the Warden mob to Minecraft, a formidable beast that players have learned can survive for extended periods of time in hot lava. Widely considered among the scariest mobs in Minecraft, the Warden officially entered the fray in the Java Editon's experimental Update 1.19 snapshot. Mojang released the snapshot last week, allowing select players to take part in exploring an early version of the next major update.
The hostile Warden mob patrols the Overworld's Deep Dark biome, a cavernous area perfect for the likes of terrifying creature in question. Notably, the Warden represents only blind mob in Minecraft, using the skulk sensor affixed to its torso to navigate patrol routes and root out any and all trespassers. Thus, if a wandering player enters the Warden's domain and makes too much noise, it won't take long for the creature to discern the cause of the disturbance. And, apparently, trying to take these mobs head on hardly does Minecraft players any good, either.

The Redditor shared a video of their scheme, showing the Warden ablaze while fruitlessly trying to escape the lava pit. For approximately one minute, the creature survived before finally succumbing to his wounds. Check it out in the video linked below:
Clearly, the Warden was channeling its inner Jason Voorhees, refusing to go down
