As games go, the popularity of Minecraft can partly be attested to the fact that it's suitable for all ages. As an open-world game that kids can enjoy, Mojang's sandbox title encapsulates the very essence of the term «family-friendly.» It has mass appeal, as well as being thoroughly enjoyable to boot. Such is its influence, and its attraction to the family unit, that some people go so far as to mix the concept of the game with their actual family.
That's what user Eter1817 has done. In a recent post on the Minecraft subreddit, they uploaded a picture that showcases a collage of additional images. The central one is a photograph of their family, while the others are redrawings of all their members, but done in the style of the game. Not only is it pretty excellent work in general, but the stylized artwork captures the immediate recognizability of the game, while also still retaining the idea that it's based on this family photo. Other people in the thread have left comments of praise for the user, particularly the way in which they captured some of the game's aspects.

That's perhaps what makes this image rather noteworthy. As well as being drawn in the blocky style of the crafting game, it also shows the family members as some of Minecraft's most well-known mobs. In particular, there's one image in which everyone has been made to look like a villager and another which shows them as creepers, complete with green coloring. When asked what texture pack they'd used to make the images, Eter1817 jokingly said they used «real life.»
