A skilled Minecraft player has built a spot-on replica of Tony Stark’s oceanside mansion from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Survival Mode. Fans of Robert Downey Jr’s silver-screen portrayal of billionaire weapons dealer-turned-superhero Tony Stark will recognize his massive penthouse from the three stand-alone Iron Man films, as it served as his home and base of operations as he set out to redeem himself as the titular armored Avenger. Unfortunately, this mansion was destroyed by Aldrich Killian’s AIM forces in a sneak attack during the events of 2013’s Iron Man 3, though Tony was able to find a new home for the remainder of his time in the MCU.
Speaking of Marvel, Minecraft players have been able to use the game’s much-lauded creative sandbox to build interesting replicas of iconic MCU locations and items like Tony’s New York City-based Stark Tower and Thanos’s Infinity Gauntlet. One particularly noteworthy case was a Minecraft fan making a giant Doc Ock statue ahead of Alfred Molina’s return as the fallen scientist with four mechanical arms in Spider-Man: No Way Home back in December. That isn’t even getting into the brief collaboration Minecraft and Marvel had for an Avengers-themed Minecraft DLC pack in 2013, which allowed players to dress their avatars as heroes like Captain America and the Hulk.
