There is exciting news for Minecraft fans. Mojang, the publisher of the popular online sandbox game, rolled out the Minecraft 1.19 Pre-release 1 update yesterday, May 19. While this update has largely focused on fixing bugs and making changes, the launch of the first pre-release itself is big news. This is because it means now the release of the major summer update The Wild is not too far. Mojang always begins with snapshots to build up for a major update where it lets players interact with the new additions to the game and give feedback. Using a movie analogy, snapshots are like teasers of a movie. Pre-release, similarly, would be an official trailer, which means the final release is very near. Although we do not have a confirmed date for The Wild, it has been rumored that it will be released somewhere near July. There are some significant changes in the Minecraft 1.19 Pre-release 1.
1. The number of the Mangrove trees in the Mangrove swamp has been reduced.
2. Endermen, Skeletons, Wither Skeletons, and Piglins now spawn in a wider range of light levels in the Nether (from light level 0 to 11)
3. Item interaction vibrations are now emitted when you start or finish "using" an item with a start and finish state (such as Bows, Crossbows, Goat Horns, Shields, Food)
