Midwinter Guild Announces That They Will No Longer Be Raiding

wowhead.comAnother well known and very accomplished raiding guild has decided to call it quits. US guild, Midwinter has announced that they will no longer be raiding.
The storied guild had stepped back a bit in recent years, achieving US 8th Mythic Castle Nathria, US 9th Mythic Sanctum of Domination, and earned Hall of Fame: The Jailer (Horde) earlier this month. Known for fair play and being supportive of their team members, Midwinter left an impression on those they raided with.
Hopefully this attitude can be an inspiration to other players and guilds going forward. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

When the Covid-19 pandemic shut down public activities and places, Niantic was in a challenging position. As a social game, it had to make changes to systems in Pokemon GO to keep players in the game by offering extra rewards, and adjusted gameplay functions to serve players that were stuck at home. Two years later, with the world out of the brunt of the unknowns the pandemic caused and re-opened thanks to acceptable vaccination rates and treatments, Niantic has begun rolling back some early pandemic era features. The latest step in that return to normal will see the departure of Remote Raid Passes from the 1 PokeCoin Event Box.
