Microsoft has announced three new Microsoft Surface computers - Surface Pro 9, Surface Studio 2 Plus, and Surface Laptop 5 at its live streamed event a few days back. The tech giant has also unveiled other updates to Windows 11, new AI platforms for creativity, as well as an Audio Dock.
The Surface Pro 9 has arrived with both ARM and Intel variants, whereas the Surface Studio 2 Plus is a refreshed version of the Studio 2 that was launched back in 2018 with updated features. Check out key specs of the Surface Pro 9, Surface Studio 2 Plus, and Surface Laptop 5.
The Surface Pro 9 comes with the most significant upgrades this year. The device has arrived with both ARM and Intel-based variants. The ARM variant is powered by the Qualcomm SQ3 and supports 5G connectivity as well. Both variants support Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6E. The device features a 13-inch PixelSense Flow Display (2880 x 1920 px; 3:2 aspect) with support for 120Hz refresh rate, compatible with the Surface Slim Pen 2. The Intel-powered variant is configured with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U or a Core i7-1255U processor and the storage options start at 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. It also gets new color options, with matching Type Cover keyboards as well.
Coming to pricing, the Surface Pro 9 base variant starts at $999 with an Intel i5, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
Microsoft has announced a new refreshed upgrade of Surface Studio launched in 2018. While it carries the same look externally, it has got major upgrades like 11th Gen Intel i7-11370H processor, and the mobile version of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 3060 with 6GB of dedicated video memory. There is also 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of storage built in.
