Maya Higa has released what she is calling her final statement on the recently resurfaced situation involving Twitch content creator Adrianah Lee and CrazySlick. Recently, it was brought to light that during an event in 2020, CrazySlick allegedly sexually assaulted Adrianah. Slick is best friends with Twitch personality Mizkif, and Mizkif and Maya have been accused of covering up the incident upon learning about it several months later.
According to the accounts of people who were either involved in or witnessed the events, the accusations against Mizkif and Maya seem somewhat factual, though the severity of their actions is still being debated. Maya has denied that she attempted to railroad Adrianah into downplaying what occurred, but Mizkif quickly issued an apology and stated that he shouldn’t have minimized what was an “inexcusable” situation.

Maya, on the other hand, did not apologize but rather discussed the situation during a Twitch stream in an attempt to clarify the events and her part in them. The controversy has not died down, however, and Maya released a TwitLonger as a final statement on September 25. In it, the content creator reiterates that she did not intend to manipulate Adrianah’s story and did not cover up a sexual assault. “This would not be possible,” she stated, “as even Adrianah did not consider the incident to be sexual assault until [September 19, 2022].”
According to her post, on the day that Maya learned about the encounter between Adrianah and CrazySlick, her intention on going to Adrianah’s house was to learn the truth about what had happened.
