Last week’s Nintendo Direct had plenty of big announcements, especially for fighting game fans, with the announcement of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. It will launch physically and digitally later this year, but for those concerned about additional downloads with the former, that thankfully won’t be the case.
Canadian retailer Video Games Plus announced on Twitter that all titles in the collection will be available on the cartridge/disc. Yes, even for the Nintendo Switch version. If you don’t have any online connection or want to own the “complete” version of a title physically, this is good news.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC via Steam. Alongside six fighting games and one beat ’em up, it offers Custom Matches, a Museum for viewing concept art, extensive settings for training, rollback netcode and Ranked play. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
