Warning: spoilers ahead for Iron Fist #1!
While Marvel Comics has finally revealed its new Iron Fist, it's also been revealed that the new hero possesses a unique weakness the original Living Weapon didn't have. Although Lin Lie was quite the capable warrior who was once the Sword Master, it seems the great dragon Shou-Lao the Undying has other plans for him in light of Danny Rand no longer being the Iron Fist in the Marvel Universe. However, it seems as though Lie's past will become an intriguing weakness for the hero, who's still trying to manage his new role.
In this brand new series from Marvel Comics, Iron Fist #1 from writer Alyssa Wong and artist Michael Yg features Danny Rand encountering his replacement for the first time. While Marvel's original Living Weapon naturally wants to know more about this new Iron Fist, Lin Lie ghosts Danny more than once before jumping through a portal back to K'un-Lun, the Heavenly City which has trained generations of past Iron Fists while also protecting the great dragon Shou-Lao the Undying.

It's also revealed in Iron Fist #1 that Lie carries with him a new weakness from his time as the Sword Master. While attempting to defeat a demon who had been unleashed in the wake of Doctor Strange's death, Lie's uniquely powerful sword was shattered into pieces, being one of only three ancient weapons needed to contain the Chinese god of war Chiyou. While K'un-Lun's dragon chose Lie to become the Iron Fist shortly after, his hands and arms were severely wounded with several shards of his blade becoming embedded, causing him great pain while also making his hands glow green when he fights.
