At this point, it's only a matter of time before the dark version of Shazam!, Miracleman makes his appearance in the Marvel universe. As it turns out, he already has the perfect nemesis that's waiting for him. Marvel doesn’t even have to make a new character to challenge him.
Miracleman was created by Carl Mick Anglo in 1954 as Marvelman. The character was revived in the '80s anthology comic Warrior by Alan Moore. In order to avoid copyright issues with Marvel Comics, his name was changed to Miracleman. His origin story was also altered. Originally, Miracleman was a Captain Marvel/Shazam type character who was granted the ability to transform into a superhero form by uttering a single word. Alan Moore reinvented the character so that his origin was in fact fabricated by an evil scientist who created Miracleman using alien technology. The fabricated reality was a way to control him so that the scientist could harness the technology and pursuit of his own immortality.

At the end of the Kang one-shot, Timeless, a professor specializing in super villains uncovers the Miracleman symbol on a piece of parchment. This indicates that Miracleman might be making the jump into the mainstream Marvel universe the same way Doctor Manhattan and the Watchmen did in the DC universe. And within the Marvel universe, there is a mutant with the powerful ability to alter someone reality. This, of course, is Jason Wyngarde, also known as the villain Mastermind. And as a reality-altering mutant, he is the perfect nemesis for Miracleman, who already has trauma from his reality being altered in the past.
