Console signups have now opened for the in July. The beta will begin at 3:00 PM PDT / 6:00 PM EDT on July 23 and will continue until 12:00 AM PDT / 3:00 AM EDT on August 5. While signups are now available for PS5 and Xbox Series X players, PC players will have to wait a bit longer to register.
Those who want to sign up for the Marvel Rivals closed beta on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will need to go to the registration website and fill out the questionnaire. Those who are selected to take part will be notified via email with updates also being provided through social media and Discord.
PC players will have to wait a bit longer to register their interest. Signups begin on July 20, when players will need to head to the Marvel Rivals Steam store page. Here there will be a section labeled “Join Marvel Rivals Playtest” and clicking the Request Access button will complete the signup. PC players who reached account level 10 during the closed alpha test will already have guaranteed their spot in the beta but will still need to request access to the servers.

The closed alpha test had an event where those who reached account level 6 could claim a code to invite one friend to the test. NetEase also has plans to have a similar scheme running during the beta test, although exactly how this will work has not been revealed yet.
The same three game modes that were available in the alpha — Convoy, Domination, and Convergence — will be accessible during the closed beta too. The three alpha maps — Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path, Yggsgard: Royal Palace, and Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya — are also returning but will be joined by the newly revealed Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands map.
